Students Invited To Help Shape Geneva’s Future
Students interested in learning about local government and how Geneva determines its priorities can apply for a unique opportunity to serve on the City’s Strategic Plan Advisory Committee.
As a full-fledged committee member, the selected student will participate in regular meetings and provide important input to assist the City Council in prioritizing community goals.
This hands-on experience provides a unique opportunity to play an active role in implementing the City’s strategic plan and shape the future of our community.
To be eligible, the student must:
- Live in Geneva;
- Be currently enrolled in high school;
- Be able to participate in the city’s Student Government Committee;
- Attend Strategic Plan Advisory Committee meetings at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesdays of each month at City Hall; and
- Submit a letter of interest and resume no later than 11 p.m. Thursday, July 11.
