In our interconnected digital age, experts say business leaders need to implement preventative measures to stop attacks on websites.
That’s what you’ll learn how to do if you attend a free Google Insider Tips program set for July 16 at the Kane County Government Center in Geneva.
Kane County is offering a free, 90-minute program, Preventing And Recovering From a Website Attack from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, in the main-level conference room of Building A at the Kane County Government Center, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Geneva.

More than 35,000 websites are infected every month, according to Google.
“Businesses must be better prepared to address this aggressive and negative part of operating in the digital age,” said Autumn Consulting President Nathan Misirian, who created the seminar to demonstrate specific tools from Google and others to both prevent and recover from a website attack.
The seminar will cover website topics including malware, hacking or spam.
By attending this seminar, you will learn how to:
- Increase your awareness of your website’s vulnerabilities.
- Understand preventative measures and tools.
