Spike, Set, and Serve Up Fun July 18 at Batavia Quarry’s Beach Ball Bonanza

The Batavia Park District will host Beach Ball Bonanza at Hall Quarry Beach, located at 400 S. Water St. in Batavia, from 12:30 p.m. to 4 pm. Thursday, July 18.

During afternoon rest periods, swimmers will be able to spend their time enjoying a variety of activities involving beach balls and other pool toys.

Children of all ages will have the opportunity to play pool noodle hockey, beach towel volleyball, beach ball basket drop, hula hoop catch, and other beach ball related races, relays, and team games. The first 100 guests will receive a free beach ball, and additional prizes will be awarded to participants throughout the day. The Quarry mascot, Chuck the Duck, is scheduled to make an appearance.

Participation in Beach Ball Bonanza is included in the price of admission for all Quarry attendees on the day of the event, so come ready to bump, set, spike, kick, carry, drop, and laugh.

Daily admission to the Quarry is $8 for residents and $11 for non-residents. Season passes will be accepted.
