3 Kane County Recycling Events Coming Up at 3 NEW LOCATIONS!
As we round the corner into fall, Kane County Recycling Coordinator Jennifer Jarland wants to make sure you all get your items together for the last couple of recycling events of the year.
Pay special attention to what’s ahead, because these events are all at different locations!
Remaining 2019 Recycling Event Dates
Saturday, Oct. 12 at IMSA!
- What To Recycle: Electronics and books only (See the poster!)
- When: 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 12
- Where: Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, 1500 Sullivan Road, Aurora, IL 60506
Saturday, Nov. 2 — Pumpkin Recycling at Pushing The Envelop Farm in Geneva
- What To Recycle: Pumpkin and Squash Composting Drop-off (See the poster!)
- When: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 2
- Where: Pushing The Envelope Farm, 1700 Averill Road, Geneva, IL 60134
Saturday, Nov. 9: Electronics and Books in Campton Hills!
- What To Recycle: Electronics and books only!
- When: 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 9
- Where: Anderson Park, 5N180 Brown Road, Campton Hills, IL 60175
Costs: Kane County charges a fee to recycle TVs and monitors. The cost is $25 for TVs and monitors with screens that are under 21 inches measured diagonally or $35 for screens 21 inches or more measured diagonally.
All other acceptable items are free to drop off.
You can pay onsite with cash or card or pay online in advance HERE. (If you use this option, you MUST print the receipt and bring it with you). These same costs apply at the drop-off locations listed above.
