The Illinois Solar Tour on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, is a series of FREE public open houses that includes some fantastic homes in Kane County.
Home and business owners with renewable energy installations will open these homes to the public to share their passion, knowledge, and experience of owning and living with renewable energy.
Visit any site between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Homeowners will be available at each site to provide information, share experiences, and answer questions.

Registration is not required. However, those who register with the Illinois Solar Energy Association in advance will be entered to win a free solar cell phone charger!
About the Solar Tour: A National Event
The Illinois Solar Energy Association Illinois Solar Tour is part of the American Solar Energy Society’s (ASES) National Solar Tour event, “the largest grassroots solar event in history.” More than 160,000 participants will visit some 5,500 buildings in 3,200 communities across the U.S. on tour day.
