Planning A Wedding? Check Out Oct. 9 ‘Ring Around Elgin’
Planning a wedding sometime in the near future?
Then you should consider attending “Ring Around Elgin — Autumn Wedding Walk” from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Ring Around Elgin is a FREE, self-guided tour to find the perfect location for your reception, rehearsal dinner, shower, or special event.
Elgin Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (www.ExploreElginArea.com) Sales Manager Wendi Howard said her organization is “excited to be collaborating with 10 local venues to highlight the Elgin area as a preferred wedding destination.”
Executive Director Krisilee Murphy said the tour gives couples a chance to view several wedding and reception sites in-person, in one day, without having to make an appointment.
“It’s an excellent opportunity to experience what it would be like to host their wedding at the venue,” she said.
Many of the venues will feature caterers, photographers, bakeries, florists, and more. Couples who register in advance will be eligible to win prizes.
