The spot repair project will take place from James to South streets during daytime hours with flaggers directing traffic. Third Street will be fully reopened each night before construction activities resume the following day.

On State Street (IL Route 38), spot brick replacement along the sidewalk ribbons will occur from Fourth to Sixth streets.

All traffic lanes will remain open, but a few parking spaces may be temporarily closed each day to accommodate crews in the area.

The brick projects on both streets are expected to be completed by Friday, Oct. 11, weather permitting.
