U.S. Marshals Charge 23-Year-Old DeKalb Man With Felony Sexual Assault in Aurora
A 23-year-old DeKalb man faces five felony sexual assault charges for a case involving a juvenile victim in Aurora.
Brady Bui, 23, of the 800 block of Lucinda Ave in DeKalb, was taken into custody Monday Oct. 14, 2019) by members of the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Aurora police detectives began investigating the case last September after a report was made to the DeKalb police about an incident involving a juvenile victim at a home in Aurora. The investigation was forwarded to the Aurora Police Department because the incident occurred in Aurora.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives determined that Bui had inappropriate contact with an underage teenager while he was visiting a home in Aurora in 2018.
As a result of the investigation, the following charges were authorized by the Will County State Attorney’s Office:
- Two counts of Criminal Sexual Assault, a Class 1 felony.
- One count of Attempted Criminal Sexual Assault, aClass 2 felony
- Two counts of Criminal Sexual Abuse, a Class 1 felony
Charges are not proof of guilt. The defendant listed herein is presumed innocent and is entitled to fair trials at which it is the burden of the state to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
