Want a good-paying job?

You’ve got a shot at landing one Friday at a Kane County Sheriff’s Office job fair in Elgin.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at O.N.E. Fitness and Community Center, 24 Tyler Creek Plaza, Elgin.

The Sheriff’s Office is continuing its successful jobs fair series, which began with a May event in Aurora that brought job opportunities to more than 470 students.

In addition to Sheriff’s Office recruitment efforts, prospective job-seekers will find opportunities with large-scale employers, including Suncast, General Mills, Manpower, Chase Bank and Olcott Plastics.

The event is co-sponsored by the Illinois Department of Employment Security and the Quad County African American Chamber of Commerce.
