KDOT: Peplow Road Over Virgil Creek Reopened, Work Substantially Complete
The Kane County Division of Transportation announced this week that the Peplow Road over Virgil Creek project is substantially complete and the road was reopened Monday (Dec. 2, 2019).
KDOT officials said remaining restoration and punch list work will resume in the spring of 2020, with temporary daily lane closures.
Peplow Road had been closed since May to traffic between Ramm Road and Middleton Road in Burlington Township in order to safely replace the existing bridge structure.
“The county wishes to thank you for your cooperation and patience while we made this important improvement,” KDOT said in a news release.
