Bestselling Author Scott Turow Coming to St. Charles

Scott Turow, No. 1 New York Times bestselling author and “one of the major writers in America” (NPR), is coming to St. Charles in April.

The St. Charles Public Library Foundation announced this week that the internationally-acclaimed author will be the guest speaker at the fifth annual Books and Brunch fundraising event..

The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at St. Charles Country Club, 1250 Country Club Road in St. Charles, but organizers say seating is limited and it’s best to sign up now.

Turow is the author of 11 fiction and three nonfiction books, including Presumed Innocent and Burden of Proof.

Autograph signings, raffles, and book giveaways, as well as brunch, are included in the package.

Tickets for Books and Brunch are $55 per person and must be purchased in advance. Seating is limited. Tickets are available at https://tinyurl.com/tdxc2m8, by calling the library’s administration office at 630-584-0076, Ext. 230, or at the library, located at One South Sixth Avenue in St. Charles.
