Huntley Truck-Repair Employee Airlifted After Being Crushed Under Vehicle

A 29-year-old truck-repair employee was airlifted to the hospital Monday (Jan. 20, 2020) after he was crushed by a vehicle he had been working on.

According to a Huntley Police Department news release, police and Fire Protection District personnel responded at around 3:45 p.m. Monday to R & R Truck Repair, 11414 Smith Drive, for the report of an employee that had been crushed under a vehicle.

Upon arrival, police discovered that other employees had used a forklift to remove the 29-year-old man from under a truck.

Police said the employee was assessed by Huntley Fire Protection District personnel and transported to Condell Medical Center by Flight for Life.

There is no further information on the condition of the employee.
