KDOT: Silver Glen Road Over Otter Creek Bridge Replacement Is Essentially Done

Silver Glen over Otter Creek bridge replacement project work prior to Dec. 17, 2019.

There’s still a little work to do in the spring, but the Kane County Division of Transportation announced this week that construction work at the Silver Glen Road over Otter Creek Bridge, located west of Randall Road, has been substantially completed.

Remaining work comprised of a bridge milling and overlay will be done under daily lane closures and will resume in early spring 2020 with an anticipated completion date of early summer 2020.

The roadway and pedestrian walkways are now open in their final configuration and the pedestrian walkway is not expected to be impacted by the remaining work in 2020.

KDOT will alert motorists when work is being completed in spring/summer 2020.

Questions and concerns may be directed to David Sitko at 630-313-0754.
