Churches Join for Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser, Silent Auction for Prison Ministry Nov. 1

Voice of Hope Behind the Wall is hosting a spaghetti dinner and silent auction for  its prison ministry from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at Immanuel Lutheran Church and School, Family Life Center, 950 Hart Road, Batavia, IL.
Come and meet Deaconess, Lori Wilbert, and hear about her ministry to the inmates at Statesville Correctional Center near Joliet.
This event is open to all and is sponsored by the following Lutheran Churches: Immanuel, Batavia; King of Glory, Elgin; St. John, Schaumburg; St. Mark, St. Charles and Thrivent Financial.
Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 3 to 10 years old. Tickets at the door are $15 for adults and $7 for children. Tickets are available by contacting Kathy Helvey at 630-267-3062, norwoodhi@sbcglobal.net, or Mary Wert at 630-879-7163. Checks should be made out to NID-Prison Ministry.
