Are you a homeowner with a well and/ or septic system? Have you ever wondered how these systems work?

Then do we have a homeowner’s seminar for you.

Pretty much everything you ever wanted to know about well and septic (but were afraid to ask) will be presented at the annual Kane County Health Department’s Well and Septic Homeowner’s Seminar at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the University of Illinois Extension Office, 535 Randall Road, St. Charles.

And if that’s not enough incentive, the Health Department will provide one water well test kit to each household at no charge.

Check-in and display viewing begins at 5:45 p.m. Attendance is free, but space can be limited, so you’re encouraged to register in advance. If you would like to attend, please register by calling the Kane County Health Department office at 630-444-3040. If you must leave a voicemail, please give your name, address, and phone number.

The Health Department would like to hear from you by Sept. 19.
