The village of West Dundee sent out an all-point bulletin to commuters and other downtown drivers Monday afternoon regarding two day’s worth of emergency water-service repair on Main Street.

According to the release, the westbound lane of Main Street (IL Route 72) will be reduced to one lane between 1st Street and 2nd Street to repair a water service leak. The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, and Wednesday, March 14.

Village officials are “urging commuters to find alternate routes during this timeframe to alleviate the congestion in this area.”
